In 2025, we released Prod!!gy, the fifth season of Living Free, the sixth season of Chapters., the novel editions of Chapters.’ second through sixth seasons, and Dr. Uddowomba and the Desire for More Bewilderment. It has been a fantastic year of releases and we thank everyone for being a part of it!
As we move towards 2026, we wanted to share with you what to expect:
- On Friday the 13th in March we will be releasing Prod!!!gy. The third film and capper to the Prod!gy Trilogy is co-directed by Conner Paulsen and Mike Barkhoff, with a script by Barkhoff. Iggy’s final battle through the nightmarish landscapes that is his life sees him try to make a satisfying conclusion to a trilogy of biographical films and try to nurture a horse that ends up in his home.
This film is influenced greatly by Back To The Future Part 3 as well as Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. It was written alongside it’s predecessor and filmed very shortly thereafter. - In the spring, we will be releasing the final ten episodes of Chapters. which are designed to be the best possible content the series could provide. Every episode is written and directed by series creator Mike Barkhoff. The season’s writing process has occurred in spurts since 2018, with many potential episodes being discarded in lieu of better ones.
Chapters. will have ran from 2018 to 2026. It will have featured seven seasons and sixty episodes. - In the summer, Living Free’s sixth season offers five more episodes that are more akin to the series’ inception. Nearly every episode is at least ten minutes. Again, every episode was written and directed by series creator Mike Barkhoff. The final episode was rewritten at least ten times.
Living Free will have ran from 2021 to 2026. It will finish it’s run with six seasons and fifty episodes to it’s name.
Beyond 2026, we will be exploring the future of Nitrate and gearing up to release the horror anthology film Night Of Terror. Aside from those two projects, we are working on more yet unannounced projects that we are very, very excited to present to you!
